1. Who we are+

xthrive is a registered South African company developing FastCareOnline and Thrive. For this pre-launch website, xthrive is the responsible party for the personal information you submit.

Privacy enquiries and requests can be sent to dunisani@fastcareonline.co.za.

2. Information we collect+

The launch form collects your full name, email address, optional mobile number, consent choice, consent date and the version of the consent notice you accepted.

This pre-launch form does not collect medical records, diagnoses, health readings or other clinical information. Before clinical enrolment for diabetes, hypertension or obesity begins, Thrive will publish separate clinical privacy information covering health data.

3. Why we use it+

We use these details only to manage the launch list, contact you individually about the launch, explain enrolment and respond to your privacy requests. We do not use the launch list for unrelated marketing and do not sell it.

4. Our lawful basis and your consent+

We process the launch-list information with your voluntary, specific consent. Joining the list is optional. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it was withdrawn.

5. Storage and security+

Information is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a managed cloud database. Database access is not exposed to website visitors and is limited to authorised xthrive personnel and service providers who require it for the stated purpose.

We use access controls, server-side validation, rate limiting, duplicate prevention and audit-friendly consent records. No online service can promise absolute security; if a security compromise creates a risk to affected people, xthrive will follow applicable notification requirements.

6. Sharing and operators+

We may use contracted infrastructure and email-delivery providers to host the service and send launch notifications. They process information only to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by South African law. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

7. Retention+

We keep launch-list details only while they are needed for launch and enrolment communications, or until you withdraw consent. Once the launch campaign is complete, records that are no longer needed will be securely deleted or de-identified, subject to any legal record-keeping requirement.

8. Your POPIA rights+

You may ask whether we hold your information, request access, ask us to correct or delete inaccurate or unnecessary information, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us at the address above so we can verify and action your request.

You may also lodge a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

9. Direct communication+

We will contact you only about the Thrive launch and enrolment under the consent you provide. Every electronic launch communication will identify xthrive and provide a reasonable way to opt out.

10. Changes to this policy+

This policy is effective from 22 August 2026. Material changes will be published here with a revised effective date. If the purpose of processing changes materially, we will request new consent where required.

This policy is a practical privacy notice and should be reviewed by xthrive’s Information Officer or legal adviser before public launch.
